Shaped to Take a Jewellery Box
The bag is broad at the front and narrow at the side, which is the shape a jewellery box takes. A box goes in flat, so the lid of the box faces the front panel. The base is square, so the box rests level instead of tipping to one side. Because the sides are narrow, the bag stays close to the box inside.
The Wide Satin Handle
- The ribbon a wide satin band, not a cord.
- Through the top it passes the top edge and is sewn inside the bag.
- The hand the band is broad, so it lies along the fingers as a flat.
- In use the bag is taken from the middle with one hand.
- The colour the band is in a metal tone that lifts the deep blue.
