Food Grade Folding Cupcake Box With Clear Window

The lid carries a clear window: what is inside, and whether it is arranged neatly, shows without opening the box. The window is clear PVC film, glued flat, so the view is clean rather than cloudy. For a shop this is the practical part: on a counter or in a delivery bag, the customer sees the cupcakes at once, and staff do not have to open the box to show them.

- A tray sits inside, with one cut hole for each cup.

- Carried by hand or driven across town, the cups do not tip and do not press into each other.

- The holes are cut to your cup diameter, so the usual cupcake sizes sit tight.

- The tray uses the same card as the box, which keeps the inside looking clean.

Three sizes: 4 cups, 6 cups and 12 cups. The 4-cup box suits one or two people, the 6-cup is the size shops order most, and the 12-cup suits parties and office orders where a lot of cakes go out at once. All three are cut with the same hole pattern, so the cups sit just as tight in each.

The boxes ship flat, so a stack is thin, which saves both warehouse space and freight. To use one, lift the sides and close the lid — no glue and no tools, and shop staff can do it themselves. The creases are pre-pressed, so the box stays square after being folded and unfolded a few times.

- The box is made of thickened food grade card with no smell, so cakes go straight in.

- It is printed with Christmas artwork — Santa, trees, candy — on either a red and green base or a kraft brown base.

- Twine and tags can be added so the box works as a gift; they are ordered as separate items.

The die cutting, the window gluing, the creasing and the trays all run in our own factory. The window is the step to watch: the film has to be glued flat, with no crease and no bubble, and if it goes on crooked it shows from the outside, so every box is held up to the light after the window goes on. The tray holes are cut to your cup diameter, and the hole positions have to line up, or the cups sit crooked, so the trays are cut on one die and a few cups are test-fitted once the box is up. The creases come off the same template as well — pressed too shallow and the lid will not close — so each stack is looked over after folding. For quantity, a few hundred for a trial and full containers for bulk are both fine, and a repeat order is matched to the first one for print and colour.
