Matte Black Surface, No Fingerprints, Resists Scratches
The outside is wrapped in matte dark black film paper, so light spreads across the surface instead of reflecting — the box sits quietly on a shelf. The matte finish does not keep fingerprints, and marks do not show even if your hands are a little oily; it resists scratches too, so boxes stacked together or moved around do not pick up scuffs. Black does not shift much under light, so the colour looks the same indoors and in daylight.

The magnets are matched to the box, so the lid closes firmly and still opens without a fight.
