This box ships flat. What arrives is a stack of flat sheets rather than formed boxes, so in the warehouse they stack on top of each other, one layer holds many, and they take up far less room than ready-made boxes. Shipping works the same way: more of them fit into one outer carton, so the same volume of goods needs fewer cartons and costs less to send. For a stall, a trade show or a pop-up shop, a few stacks of flat sheets are enough — fold a few on the spot and put them out.

The base of this box locks itself: lift the four sides, press the base down and the box is formed. No glue and no tape are needed — put the goods in and close the lid. Once you are used to it, one person can build a box in seconds, which keeps packing on pace at peak times. Nothing is glued at any point, so the box flattens back down when it is not needed and can be used again.
