A Drawer That Slides Out, With a Small Leather Pull
This box is a drawer, not a lift-off lid. The outer case is a sleeve and the inner box is a drawer, cut to fit each other closely, so the drawer slides out along the case instead of being worked loose at an angle. A small leather pull sits on the front: hook a finger in and the drawer comes out, and because the pull is leather rather than card, it does not dig into your finger. For jewellery, a tea cake or a bead bracelet, you pull the drawer out and take the piece from it instead of tipping the whole box over. Closing it works the same way — push the drawer back in and the front stays straight.
The Box Is Hard, Thick and Sturdy, and Holds Its Shape When Filled
The box is made from top-quality specialty paper, so it is hard, thick and sturdy rather than a thin layer of card. The four sides of the outer case are wrapped and glued, so the box does not sag on a shelf and the case does not flex when the drawer is pulled out. With a tea cake, a jewellery case or a set of badges inside, the base stays flat instead of bowing out. Stack the boxes on top of each other and the bottom one still holds.
The Outer Paper Is Textured, Not a Smooth Face
- The outside is wrapped in dark brown specialty paper with a fine cloth grain.
- Run a finger across it and you feel a light grain, so it does not slip in your hand.
- The surface does not reflect light, so photos come out without bright spots.
- The brown is dark and quiet, so it sits well on a light counter.
Dark Brown Against Cream, With Your Logo in Foil or Print
- Dark brown outer case with a cream drawer, so two colours show the moment it is opened.
- The drawer is cream inside and out, so what slides out is a light box that lets jewellery stand out.
- Your logo can be hot foiled or printed on the outer faces.
- Colour, paper and printing method can all be changed to the set you need.
Made in Many Sizes, for Jewellery, Tea Cakes and Belts
The same structure can be made in many sizes: a small one for rings, earrings and bead bracelets, a larger one for a tea cake, a reed diffuser or an anniversary badge, and a longer, taller one for belts, with the height set by what goes inside. On a jewellery counter, a customer can take the piece home in the box it was tried on in; in a tea gift set, the tea cake sits without shifting; for cultural gifts and business occasions, a badge or a small keepsake goes out as a boxed gift; for leather goods and belts, the belt rolls up and drops straight into the drawer. The box shape is regular, so it lines up neatly on a shelf and inside a carton.
These Boxes Are Made in Our Own Factory
We have years of experience in paper box design and production, and from wrapping and die cutting to V-grooving and forming, these drawer boxes are finished in our own workshops with the whole process kept in-house; we are a factory, not a trading office. Each box is built to your size and colour. Boxes and paper bags are made in the same factory, so one gift packaging order can be filled in one go.
