The bag is yellow specialty paper, with a fine grain pressed into the surface — run a finger across it and you feel the texture, a little like leather. The paper is thick, so the bag has weight in the hand, and it does not go soft when you hold it. The yellow is a warm tone, leaning mustard, not a bright, loud yellow; the surface is matte, so fingerprints do not stay on it.

Your logo is in gold foil. Gold on a warm yellow bag does not rely on contrast: straight on, the letters are muted and do not stand out; turn the bag and the light sweeps across, and the letters light up. The gold is a metal tone, not printed ink, so thin strokes and small letters still come out whole — the small line of text beside the name stays clean as well. It does not fade, and it does not rub off.

The handle is champagne satin ribbon: smooth in the hand, with a soft sheen, and a tone that stays in the same family as the yellow paper. The ribbon goes through the holes at the top and is fixed with a rivet on the inside, so a bag carrying a watch box or a piece of gold jewellery is not riding on a knot. The ribbon is wide enough that a full bag does not cut into your fingers.

The bag is square and on the small side. Standing empty on a counter it still looks placed, not dropped; the bottom is folded, so it sits flat and does not rock back and forth. It takes up very little room in a display case or a window. These can all be made to your brief:
