About this product

Product information from the supplier.

Product Overview

Hydrogen Peroxide is an inorganic compound that functions primarily as an oxidizing agent. When it decomposes, it breaks down into water and oxygen – leaving no harmful residues behind. This environmental friendliness, combined with strong oxidizing power, explains its widespread adoption across industries where chlorine-based chemicals were once standard.

The product finds application in four main categories: bleaching (paper pulp and textiles), disinfection (food contact surfaces and water treatment), chemical synthesis (oxidation reactions), and wastewater treatment (COD reduction). Unlike sodium hypochlorite, it does not form chlorinated byproducts. Unlike chlorine gas, it requires no special gas handling equipment.

Typical concentrations: 27.5%, 35%, 50%, and 60%. Higher concentrations available for specialized applications.

Grades Available: Industrial | Food | Electronic

Why Choose Our Hydrogen Peroxide

Clean Oxidation, No Harmful Residues – Decomposes into water and oxygen. No chlorinated organics. No heavy metal residues. No post-treatment neutralization needed.

Multiple Concentrations – 27.5% for water treatment and textile bleaching. 35% for food-grade applications. 50% and 60% for industrial bleaching, chemical synthesis, and electronics cleaning.

High Purity Grades – Industrial grade for pulp bleaching. Food grade for aseptic packaging. Electronic grade for semiconductor wafer cleaning with ppb-level trace metal control.

Flexible Packaging – Supplied in 2.5L–30L jerrycans, 200L drums, and 1000L IBC with vented closures. All shipments comply with IMDG Code with proper oxidizer labeling.

Export Track Record – 13 years in hazardous chemical exports. Full documentation ensures smooth customs clearance.

Solutions We Provide

Pulp & Paper Bleaching – The pulp and paper industry is the largest consumer of Hydrogen Peroxide. It bleaches mechanical pulp to produce high-yield, bright paper grades without chlorine. Our industrial grade provides consistent active oxygen content for predictable results.

Textile Processing – In textile manufacturing, Hydrogen Peroxide bleaches cotton and linen, removing natural color bodies without damaging cellulose. Our product delivers uniform whiteness across large fabric lots – essential for consistent dyeing results.

Wastewater Treatment & COD Reduction – For recalcitrant organics that resist biological treatment, Hydrogen Peroxide combined with ferrous iron (Fenton's reagent) generates hydroxyl radicals that oxidize pollutants, lowering COD and improving biodegradability.

Disinfection & Sterilization – In food and beverage plants, Hydrogen Peroxide vapor sterilizes aseptic packaging without heat damage. In water treatment, it controls iron bacteria and eliminates hydrogen sulfide odors. Food grade available.

Electronics Cleaning – Semiconductor manufacturing requires ultra-clean surfaces. Electronic grade Hydrogen Peroxide (mixed with sulfuric acid or ammonia) cleans wafers, removing organic residues and metal contaminants at ppb levels.

Chemical Synthesis – As a clean oxidizing agent, it produces propylene oxide and caprolactam, oxidizes thiols to disulfides, and converts aldehydes to carboxylic acids. The only byproduct is water – eliminating salt waste streams.

Related Products & Important Notice

Sodium Hypochlorite (NaClO) – Another oxidizing agent for different disinfection applications

Peracetic Acid (CH₃CO₃H) – Related peroxide compound for enhanced disinfection in food processing

Sodium Percarbonate (Na₂CO₃·1.5H₂O₂) – Solid peroxide source for detergent manufacturing

Important – Strong Oxidizer – Segregation Required

Hydrogen Peroxide decomposes exothermically. Contact with organic materials, metals, or reducing agents can accelerate decomposition. Under IMDG regulations, segregate from flammables, organic materials, and reducing agents. Store in original containers with vented closures. Avoid contamination. Contact us to plan your shipment.
