Product Overview
The Hanging Type Sheep Offal Synchronous Inspection Conveyor keeps red and white viscera moving in step with the corresponding carcass. Instead of sending trays along the floor, it carries the inspection points on an elevated stainless chain and track. This leaves more of the floor open and gives the veterinary team a defined sequence for viewing carcass, organs and disposition status.
The reference design uses 304 stainless steel for the track, chain, trays and hooks. White offal is presented in trays, while red offal is carried on hooks or dedicated supports. A sterilizing provision is included for the hook circuit. The unit should be engineered as part of the line rather than ordered in isolation, because pitch, elevation, inspection dwell time and conveyor speed must match the carcass rail.
As each carcass reaches evisceration, its viscera are placed on the corresponding numbered or sequenced tray and hook. The overhead conveyor advances at a fixed relationship to the carcass line, carrying both streams through the inspection zone. The 1,200 mm reference pitch provides one repeated station per carcass. After inspection, accepted offal is removed for further handling and rejected material is diverted according to plant procedure. Empty carriers pass through the cleaning and sterilizing section before returning to the loading point.

Application
This conveyor is suited to medium‑capacity sheep or goat slaughter lines where official inspection requires the organs to remain correlated with each carcass. It is especially useful when floor space must stay clear for drainage, sanitation and personnel movement. The plant layout should provide safe loading and unloading heights, sufficient lighting, reject diversion, hot‑water sterilization utilities and access to the complete return circuit.
Reference Application Case
Reference application: a new 250‑head‑per‑hour sheep line uses a 1,200 mm carcass pitch
The hanging offal conveyor runs parallel to the dressing rail through a six‑position inspection zone. White viscera are placed in trays; red organs are suspended on matching hooks. A hold switch pauses both circuits if the inspector requires a closer examination. At the discharge, separate teams remove accepted material and route condemned material to a locked system. Final controls, inspection rules and staffing must be agreed with the local authority.
Advantages
1. Maintains a clear relationship between carcass and offal during inspection
2. Uses overhead space and keeps more of the processing floor accessible
3. Stainless carriers withstand frequent washdown when correctly maintained
4. Repeated pitch supports predictable inspection timing
5. Can incorporate hold, reject and sterilizing functions within one coordinated line
