About this product
Product information from the supplier.
Product Overview
The Sheep Bleeding Shackle is an essential accessory used in sheep and goat slaughterhouses to securely fasten the hind legs of animals after slaughter and suspend the carcass on the overhead bleeding rail.
Designed for continuous slaughter operations, the shackle consists of a heavy‑duty 304 stainless steel chain and a φ60 mm stainless steel ring, providing excellent corrosion resistance, strength, and long service life in wet processing environments. It is compatible with both tube rail and dual‑rail conveyor systems, allowing seamless integration into modern slaughter lines.
By ensuring stable suspension during bleeding, the shackle helps improve blood drainage, operator safety, and overall production efficiency.
It is widely used in:
Sheep slaughterhouses
Goat slaughter plants
Halal meat processing facilities
Small and large commercial abattoirs
Export meat processing factories
Working Principle
After the sheep or goat is slaughtered, the operator secures the animal's hind legs using the bleeding shackle.
The stainless steel ring is then attached to the pulley hanger on the overhead rail. The carcass remains suspended in a vertical position while moving along the bleeding conveyor, allowing complete blood drainage before entering the skinning and evisceration sections.
The simple but robust design enables quick attachment and release, making it ideal for continuous slaughter operations.
Main Features
Heavy‑Duty Stainless Steel Construction
Manufactured from food‑grade 304 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
Secure Hind Leg Fixing
The chain firmly secures the sheep or goat hind legs, preventing accidental slipping during transportation and bleeding.
Compatible with Overhead Rail Systems
Suitable for:
Tube rail systems
Dual‑orbit rail systems
Pulley hangers
Automatic bleeding conveyors
Manual bleeding rails
Excellent Corrosion Resistance
Designed for continuous operation in humid slaughterhouse environments with easy cleaning and sanitation.
Quick Hooking Design
Allows operators to attach and remove carcasses quickly, increasing slaughter efficiency.
Long Service Life
The robust chain and forged ring are resistant to deformation and wear, making the shackle suitable for long‑term industrial use.
