About this product

Product information from the supplier.

Product Overview

The Cattle Carcass Vertical Hoist is a professional lifting device used in cattle slaughterhouses to transfer heavy carcasses from a lower working position to an overhead conveyor rail system.

After cattle slaughtering and bleeding preparation, carcasses are usually collected at a lower position and need to be lifted to the elevated rail system for further processing.

The vertical hoist provides a safe and efficient solution by replacing manual lifting operations. It uses an electric hoist system combined with an automatic hanging device and heavy‑duty hook to raise cattle carcasses vertically.

The equipment is widely installed in:

  • cattle slaughter lines

  • beef processing plants

  • halal slaughterhouses

  • meat processing facilities

It plays an important role in connecting the killing area, bleeding line, and overhead carcass transportation system.

According to EME technical information, the QE‑C109‑I vertical hoist is designed for lifting cattle carcasses from the collection grid to the overhead rail for killing and bleeding processes.

Working Principle

The Cattle Carcass Vertical Hoist operates through an electric lifting system.

After the carcass is attached to the heavy‑duty hook, the operator activates the control switch. The electric hoist drives the lifting mechanism upward through the wire rope system.

The automatic hanging device moves the carcass smoothly from the lower collection position to the overhead conveyor rail height.

Once reaching the required height, the carcass is transferred onto the rail system and continues to the next processing stage.

The low‑pressure control system helps ensure safer operation and prevents equipment overload during lifting.

Main Features

1. Heavy Duty Lifting Capacity

Designed specifically for cattle carcasses, the hoist provides strong lifting performance.

Maximum lifting capacity: Up to 2000 kg. Suitable for large cattle and beef processing operations.

2. Efficient Vertical Transfer

The vertical lifting design saves factory space compared with inclined transfer systems.

Advantages:

  • compact installation

  • simple operation

  • efficient height adjustment

3. Electric Hoist Drive System

The equipment uses an industrial electric hoist, providing:

  • stable lifting

  • reliable operation

  • easy maintenance

4. Automatic Hanging Device

The integrated hanging mechanism helps connect carcasses with the overhead rail system smoothly.

Benefits:

  • reduced manual handling

  • improved working safety

  • better production flow

5. Strong Hook Structure

The heavy‑duty hook is designed for continuous cattle carcass handling.

Features:

  • high load resistance

  • corrosion resistance

  • long service life

6. Food Processing Environment Design

Available material options:

  • hot galvanized steel

  • stainless steel

Application Case

Beef Slaughterhouse Carcass Transfer System Upgrade

A cattle slaughterhouse needed to improve the connection between the slaughter area and overhead carcass conveyor system.

The previous manual lifting method caused:

  • high labor requirements

  • slow transfer speed

  • increased operator workload

After installing the cattle carcass vertical hoist:

  • carcass transfer became faster

  • production flow was stabilized

  • worker safety improved

  • the slaughter line achieved better automation

The hoist was integrated with the existing overhead rail system according to the customer's factory layout.

Advantages

  • 1. High Load Safety
Designed for heavy cattle carcasses with a 2000kg lifting capacity.

  • 2. Space Saving Design
Vertical lifting requires less floor space compared with traditional transfer solutions.

  • 3. Improved Production Efficiency
Automated lifting reduces waiting time between slaughter and processing stages.

  • 4. Reduced Labor Intensity
    Minimizes manual carcass handling operations.

  • 5. Reliable Industrial Structure
Heavy‑duty components ensure stable operation in demanding slaughterhouse environments.

  • 6. Easy Integration
Can connect with different cattle slaughterhouse conveyor systems.
