Product Overview

The Arm Type Quarter Carcass Delivery Descend Machine is a specialized handling device used in modern cattle slaughterhouses and beef processing plants for transferring quarter carcasses between different conveyor levels.

During beef carcass processing, quarter carcasses usually move along elevated overhead rails after splitting and chilling procedures. Due to the height difference between processing lines, storage rails, and dispatch areas, manual handling is inefficient and may affect meat hygiene.

This hydraulic arm‑type machine uses a stainless steel rotating arm, lifting fork, hydraulic power unit, and control system to smoothly lower quarter carcasses from the upper rail to the designated lower conveyor position.

The equipment helps slaughterhouses reduce manual labor, improve workplace safety, and maintain a continuous carcass transportation process. It is suitable for medium and large‑scale cattle abattoirs requiring reliable carcass transfer solutions.

Working Principle

The quarter carcass descend machine works through a hydraulic driving system.

After the quarter carcass arrives at the transfer position on the overhead rail, the operator activates the control system. The hydraulic cylinder drives the rotating arm and fork mechanism to move downward smoothly.

The fork supports the carcass hook or trolley, lowers the quarter carcass to the lower conveying rail, and then returns automatically to the original position for the next transfer cycle.

The hydraulic system provides stable movement speed and reduces impact during carcass transfer, preventing damage to meat quality and ensuring safe operation.

Main Features

1. Hydraulic Driven Transfer System

The machine adopts a hydraulic power station and cylinder system, providing strong lifting force and stable movement compared with traditional manual transfer methods.

2. Food Grade Stainless Steel Structure

Main contact parts are manufactured from stainless steel materials, providing:

  • corrosion resistance

  • easy cleaning

  • improved food hygiene conditions

3. Smooth Carcass Handling

The rotating arm structure allows quarter carcasses to be transferred gently, reducing swinging and collision during movement.

4. High Load Capacity

Designed for beef quarter carcass handling, the machine can work continuously in industrial slaughter lines.

5. Compact Installation Design

The machine occupies limited floor space and can be integrated into existing cattle slaughterhouse conveyor systems.

6. Improved Worker Safety

Automation reduces direct manual lifting operations and lowers workplace injury risks.
