Product information from the supplier.
Product Overview
The Cattle Blood Collection Tank is an essential component installed in the bleeding section of modern beef slaughterhouses. It is designed to collect and drain blood efficiently after cattle slaughter, ensuring a clean working environment and improving the utilization of animal by‑products.
The equipment is normally installed below the cattle bleeding conveyor rail, allowing blood from suspended carcasses to flow directly into the stainless steel collection chute.
Manufactured with food‑grade SUS304 stainless steel, the blood collection tank features excellent corrosion resistance, smooth surfaces, and easy cleaning characteristics, making it suitable for continuous operation in wet slaughterhouse environments.
The collected blood can be transferred through stainless steel pipes to storage tanks or further processing systems for applications such as blood meal production, animal feed ingredients, or other by‑product utilization.
The standard model QE‑C115 is designed for cattle slaughter lines, with customized dimensions available according to different plant layouts and production capacities.
Working Principle
The cattle blood collection tank works together with the overhead bleeding conveyor system.
After cattle are slaughtered, the carcass is suspended by a bleeding shackle and transported along the overhead rail. During the bleeding period, blood flows downward naturally into the stainless steel collection chute installed underneath.
The inclined structure of the tank guides the collected blood toward the drainage outlet. Through the connected stainless steel blood pipe or sewage system, the blood is transferred to the next collection or processing stage.
This design reduces blood splashing, prevents contamination of the slaughter floor, and improves hygiene control during the bleeding process.

Application
The Cattle Blood Collection Tank is widely used in:
Beef slaughterhouses
Cattle abattoirs
Halal cattle slaughter plants
Meat processing factories
Industrial livestock processing facilities
It is installed in the early stage of cattle slaughter processing:
Cattle Stunning → Killing → Bleeding → Carcass Transfer → Skinning → Evisceration → Chilling
Typical installation includes:
Blood collection tank
Overhead bleeding rail
Bleeding shackles
Blood drainage system
For large‑scale beef plants, multiple tanks can be connected together to cover long bleeding lines.
Application Case
Case 1: Middle East Halal Beef Processing Plant
A halal cattle slaughterhouse required a hygienic blood collection solution for its new slaughter line.
The customer installed SUS304 cattle blood collection tanks below the bleeding conveyor.
After commissioning:
Blood collection efficiency improved
The slaughter floor remained cleaner
Manual cleaning workload was reduced
The blood recovery process became more organized
Case 2: Africa Beef Abattoir Project
For a medium‑capacity cattle slaughterhouse project, customized stainless steel blood collection tanks were supplied according to the customer's building layout.
The equipment was integrated with:
Cattle bleeding rail
Carcass hanging system
Blood drainage pipeline
The complete bleeding area achieved smoother operation and easier maintenance.
Advantages
Improved Hygiene Control
The stainless steel chute prevents blood leakage and keeps the bleeding area cleaner.Better Blood Recovery
The design helps collect more blood for further utilization and reduces waste.Long Service Life
SUS304 stainless steel provides excellent resistance against moisture, corrosion, and frequent washing.Easy Integration
Compatible with various cattle slaughterhouse conveyor systems.Customized Manufacturing
