Product Overview

The cattle carcass rail weighing system is a specialized weighing device designed for beef slaughterhouses, cattle abattoirs, and meat processing plants to measure carcass weight during or after slaughter processing.

Installed directly on the overhead conveyor rail system, the equipment allows operators to weigh cattle half carcasses or quarter carcasses without removing them from the production line.

Compared with traditional floor weighing methods, the rail weighing system improves processing efficiency, reduces manual handling, and provides more accurate weight data for production management, quality control, and meat distribution.

The system consists of a stainless steel weighing rail, high‑precision load cells, electronic weighing indicator, LCD display, and optional printer. The structure is designed for wet processing environments with frequent cleaning requirements.

The cattle carcass rail weight scale is widely used before carcass dispatching, chilling storage, grading, and meat cutting processes.

It can be integrated with:

  • Overhead monorail systems

  • Carcass transfer conveyors

  • Beef chilling systems

  • Meat processing lines

The EME QE‑C235 type system uses a 1000mm weighing rail, supports up to 600kg weighing capacity, and provides 50g weighing resolution with digital display and printing functions.

Working Principle

The cattle carcass rail weighing system works by replacing a section of the existing overhead conveyor rail with a precision weighing rail.

When a hanging carcass trolley enters the weighing section, the load is transferred through the rail structure to high‑accuracy sensors.

The sensors convert the mechanical load into an electrical signal, which is processed by the weighing indicator.

The final carcass weight is displayed on the digital screen and can be printed for production records.

After weighing, the carcass continues moving along the overhead rail system without manual unloading.

This in‑line weighing method allows continuous production while maintaining accurate weight control.
