Bacteriostatic water

Bacteriostatic (BAC) water is sterile, non-pyrogenic water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol. It is primarily used as a diluent or solvent to dissolve and dilute injectable medications. The preservative safely inhibits bacterial growth, allowing the vial to be used for multiple withdrawals.
