Application

The KNS 22.2V 22000mAh 10C 6S LiPo battery is ideally suited for heavy-lift drones and long-endurance UAV missions, such as agricultural surveying, cargo delivery, and infrastructure inspection. With its high 22000mAh capacity and stable 10C discharge rate, the battery provides over 40 minutes of flight time on a typical hexacopter carrying a 3–5 kg payload.

The 6S 22.2V architecture ensures compatibility with standard drone power systems, while the lightweight design does not compromise flight dynamics. Field tests have shown consistent voltage output even under sustained load, allowing drones to complete complex routes without premature power drop-off. This makes the KNS battery a dependable choice for both commercial operators and industrial drone manufacturers seeking longer flight endurance and reliable power delivery.

Precautions for Using Solid-State Batteries in Drones

1.Check Discharge Rate Limits

Ensure the drone’s peak and continuous current draw do not exceed the battery’s rated C-rate. Although solid-state batteries tolerate higher rates than conventional LiPo, prolonged over discharge may still affect cycle life.

2.Avoid Mechanical Damage
Solid-state electrolytes are more robust against puncture than liquid LiPo, but severe impact or crushing can still cause internal damage. Always mount the battery securely using vibration-dampening pads.

3.Operating Temperature
Solid-state batteries perform well across a wider temperature range (-20°C to 55°C). However, do not charge below 0°C, and avoid sustained operation above 55°C to preserve longevity.

4.Charge with Appropriate Settings
Use a Li-ion/Li-Fe compatible charger (CC/CV). Do not exceed the recommended charge voltage (e.g., 4.2V or 4.4V per cell depending on chemistry). Solid-state batteries generally accept 0.5C–1C charging, but lower rates extend life.

5.Storage Voltage
Store at 40–60% state of charge (≈3.8–3.85V per cell) in a cool, dry place. Unlike LiPo, solid-state batteries have lower self-discharge, but longterm full charge or deep discharge should still be avoided.

6.Pre-flight Inspection
Before each flight:

*Check for physical swelling (rare, but possible)

*Measure cell voltage balance (max difference <0.05V)

*Confirm connector cleanliness and firm connection.

7.Emergency Handling
In case of crash or severe deformation, isolate the battery immediately. Solid-state cells are less prone to fire than LiPo, but short circuits can still generate heat. Use sand or a fire blanket – do not use water unless the battery is fully discharged.

8.Disposal
Follow local regulations for solid state battery recycling. Fully discharge before disposal.
