About this product
Product information from the supplier.
Built to pair with upright X-ray bucky systems, this stand-mounted shield gives techs a movable barrier for standing chest and extremity exams. It uses two leaded curtains — upper and lower — that flip a full 360°, so you can angle the shielding right where the scatter is coming from and swing it clear when you don't need it.
The floor stand rolls on a mix of swivel and locking casters and stands 2060 mm tall with the base, putting the curtains at the right height for standing patients. At 0.5 mm Pb, it's light enough for one person to reposition yet still handles routine diagnostic scatter.

In the Room
For a standing chest X-ray, set the shield between the tube side and the tech's workstation, then flip the upper or lower curtain to cover the scatter zone that matches the projection. When the patient repositions or you switch between upright and table work, rotate the curtains out of the way or roll the whole stand to the side — no disassembly, no fixed mounting.
The 0.5 mm Pb curtain keeps the weight down, so one person can move and adjust it solo. Casters roll smooth and lock down once you've got the angle set.
