Material & Weaving Foundation
Composition: Mainly 100% Polyester woven suede. Partial apparel variants adopt polyester-spandex blend for mild elasticity and conformability. Non-elastic / low-elastic woven structures are widely used for bags, gift boxes and decorative fabrics.
Base-fabric process: Suede-like short pile is formed via sanding, napping or raising treatment. Compared with knitted suede, woven suede features firmer base fabric and superior dimensional stability with low deformation risk.
Core hot-stamping process: Metallic film is transferred onto pile surface under high temperature and high pressure to generate lustrous textures. Partial products combine printing, sealing-coating and embossing effects.
Features of reference sample: Fine suede-like handfeel on surface with irregular light-toned crackle / marble patterns; overall retro-luxury style.
Regular weight: 180-450GSM, custom weight available.
Regular width: 142-150cm, custom width available.
Physical Performance
Firm fabric base with good formability, ideal for articles requiring structural rigidity such as bags, shoe uppers, belts and gift boxes.
Decent surface abrasion resistance for daily-friction scenarios. Hot-stamped layer is a surface decorative finish; slight gold-layer wear / whitening may occur under repeated heavy friction, which counts as normal service wear.
Low shrinkage rate. Woven construction shows better stability than knitted suede, low deformation risk for finished garments after washing.
Pile surface provides certain dust-proof and stain-repellent performance; standard version is not heavy-duty waterproof. Waterproof & stain-repellent finishes are optional.
Superior air permeability versus PU / PVC artificial leather, suitable for shoes, bags and decorative boxes requiring breathability.
Good light fastness, resists yellowing and discoloration for indoor usage. Prolonged sunlight exposure or long-time soaking-washing is not recommended.
Processing Compatibility
Good cutting & sewing performance; resistant to edge-rolling and fraying, user-friendly for sewing operations.
Compatible with secondary processes including printing, embossing, glue-pressing, hot-stamping and lamination.
Available with authoritative eco-certifications including OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and OEKO-TEX Step to satisfy diversified customer requirements.
