Material & Weaving Foundation
Composition: 100% Polyester. Warp-knitted & weft-knitted construction with stable fabric base and short-dense pile surface, good resistance to pile shedding and pile crushing.
Core crush-velvet process: Grey fabric undergoes high-temperature creasing / crush-velvet post-finishing (crush-press process). Mechanical compression and heat-setting cause pile fibres to fall in irregular directions and form random ice-crack textures. Patterns vary per metre. It is neither printing nor engraving; physical re-orientation of pile fibres creates continuously shifting gloss and grain as light changes.
Regular weight: 140-320GSM, custom weight available.
Regular width: 140-160cm.
Physical Performance
Favourable abrasion resistance. Home-textile grade achieves high abrasion rating; apparel-grade offers moderate abrasion performance. Resists pilling and linting under daily friction.
Good wrinkle-recovery; fabric recovers after squeezing and crumpling with minimal permanent creases. Stretch polyester-spandex variant provides superior stretch resilience.
Low shrinkage rate with factory pre-shrinking treatment, stable dimensional performance after washing.
Decent air permeability; pile offers certain heat-retention property, suitable for year-round application.
Good indoor light fastness; resists yellowing and discoloration for long-term indoor use. Not fit for prolonged outdoor sunlight exposure.
Processing Compatibility
Good cutting & sewing performance; resistant to edge-rolling and fraying, user-friendly for sewing operations.
Compatible with secondary processes including printing, embossing, glue-pressing, hot-stamping and lamination.
Available with authoritative eco-certifications including OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and OEKO-TEX Step to satisfy diversified customer requirements.
