Product Details Description

The EPDM Rubber Profile is manufactured using high-quality EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber through a precision extrusion process. It is designed to provide effective sealing and protection between two mating surfaces while accommodating movement, vibration, and dimensional tolerances.

EPDM rubber is particularly suitable for outdoor and demanding environments because of its excellent resistance to ozone, ultraviolet radiation, weathering, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. This allows EPDM profiles to maintain their flexibility and physical properties during long-term exposure to environmental conditions.

The extrusion manufacturing process provides consistent cross-sectional dimensions and a uniform profile along the entire length. This makes the product suitable for continuous sealing applications where accurate dimensions and reliable installation are important.

The EPDM profile can be designed in different cross-sectional shapes, including solid profiles, hollow profiles, bulb seals, D-shaped profiles, U-channels, P-shaped profiles, edge trims, and custom sealing sections. The profile geometry can be optimized according to the required compression ratio, gap size, mounting structure, and sealing performance.

The material can also be formulated to achieve different hardness levels and performance characteristics. Customers can select specific material grades depending on requirements for flexibility, compression recovery, heat resistance, chemical resistance, or outdoor durability.

Typical Applications

EPDM Rubber Profiles are widely used in doors and windows, automotive components, construction systems, curtain walls, glass assemblies, industrial machinery, electrical cabinets, equipment enclosures, and architectural structures.

They can function as sealing strips, weatherstrips, edge protection profiles, vibration-damping components, cushioning strips, and protective gaskets. EPDM's excellent outdoor durability makes it particularly suitable for applications exposed to sunlight, rain, humidity, ozone, and changing temperatures.

For automotive applications, EPDM profiles can be used for suitable door seals, window seals, trunk seals, body sealing, glass channels, and protective profiles. In construction applications, they can be used around windows, doors, curtain walls, panels, and other building components.
