Product Details Description

Compression Seals for Windows are designed to create a reliable seal between moving and fixed window components. When the window is closed, the sealing profile is compressed against the frame, forming a continuous barrier that helps prevent water, air, dust, and outdoor noise from entering the interior space.

The sealing profile can be manufactured from EPDM rubber, silicone, TPE, or other suitable elastomeric materials according to the application. EPDM is widely used for window sealing because of its excellent resistance to ozone, UV radiation, weathering, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. Silicone can be selected for applications requiring enhanced temperature resistance and long-term flexibility.

The flexible construction allows the seal to accommodate minor dimensional variations and movement between the window frame and sash. Its good compression recovery helps the profile return toward its original shape after repeated opening and closing cycles, supporting consistent sealing performance over time.

The seal can be supplied in a wide range of cross-sectional profiles to fit different window frame designs. Custom profiles can be developed according to CAD drawings, samples, dimensions, or specific installation requirements. Various mounting options, including push-in, clip-in, adhesive-backed, and customized fixing structures, can be provided.

Typical Applications

Compression Seals for Windows are commonly used in residential windows, commercial building windows, aluminum windows, uPVC windows, sliding windows, casement windows, curtain wall systems, and industrial window assemblies.

They can be installed around window sashes, frames, glass panels, and other areas requiring a flexible compression seal. The profiles help improve building comfort by reducing air infiltration and water penetration while also contributing to better acoustic and thermal performance.
