1.MECHANISM OF ACTION
VA-β-MSH: Acts as a potent agonist at melanocortin receptors (MC1R, MC3R, MC4R, MC5R). It binds to MC1R on melanocytes to stimulate tyrosinase activity and melanin synthesis, and interacts with MC3R/MC4R in the hypothalamus to regulate energy balance and suppress inflammation.
